New Earth and the Tree of Life: Spitting out the fruit of the tree of knowledge

Dearest readers,

I am very fond of the story of Adam and Eve. It is the foundation for the entire story humanity has co-created together for the last several thousand years. The choice to forget entirely who we are, what our essential truth is, and to experience separation from our true nature. I do suspect, however, that either the story itself or how it is traditionally interpreted, have likely been changed since its inception. The imagery and symbolism of the snake as the temptress and the woman (Eve) as the instigator of temptation to her male companion don’t ring true to me.

There is much evidence that the snake is a representation of the Divine Feminine, which has been excised from our cultural and religious history for the last 2000 plus years.

Why would the Divine Feminine or its representative want the humans dwelling in perfect intuitive harmony with Gaia or Mother Nature to separate from this permanent state of bliss?

And why would the Divine Feminine choose a female human as a subject to confuse or lead astray from divine harmony?

It is clear that the Tree of Life represents 5th dimensional existence, the Peaceable Kingdom, or Paradise on Earth, where humans, plants, animals, and the consciousness of the planet and the one Source Creator of all that is are all in full alignment and harmony.

Why would the Tree of Knowledge, which represents separation from a harmonious, ascended 5th dimensional state even exist within the Garden of Eden, or paradise on Earth?

I believe that the presence of the Tree of Knowledge in Eden clearly signifies that Earth is a Free Will planet. We always have the choice to remain connected to our inner, intuitive knowing, which is true empowerment and mastery…or to separate from that inner connection and lifeline to our multidimensional parallel existences on other planes. When we accept separation or victim consciousness, we forget our divine identity. Our mind, brain, and knowledge gleaned from outside sources become our accepted center of consciousness rather than our heart and intuition as our unique source of information and guidance.

Humanity’s choice: Ease and flow or hardship and ego-driven struggle?

Perhaps, since the choice between a life of ease and flow (eating the fruit of the Tree of Life) and a life of hardship and ego-driven struggle (eating from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge) was designed as an integral part of the life on Earth, humanity had to experience separation from our true divine nature, mastery, conscious creation, and flow in order to truly understand and appreciate a return to unity and our true divine nature.

There are those that say that the snake is a representation of Satan or perhaps a reptilian extra-terrestrial being. That humanity was driven out of Eden or our natural state of flow and mastery by a series of DNA modifications and reduced to slavery by a group of powerful beings not aligned with the one divine consciousness and Source Creator. All of these conjectures are possibilities and could be true. There are many ancient works of art, in particular from the Sumerian/Akadian culture that seem to represent such beings and such technology. And the many paintings and visual interpretations of the story of Adam and Eve portray the serpent wound around the tree, evocative of the DNA double helix.

But if we are indeed a free will planet, then if humanity was tempted or even subjugated by force and did fall into a lower state of consciousness, no one could force this to happen. Even if a person enters an abusive relationship with another person, that person is still responsible for that state of affairs. Temptation is a choice, and the consequences were what we all know and experience today.

We also know today that there are cosmic cycles that govern our planetary and human experiences. Cycles that lead to different ages with different levels of consciousness. Ancient peoples from various cultures around the world were aware of these cycles. In fact, the Mayan people, who in the Alcyone spiral, originated from a star (Maya) that is mostly within the photon band, were fully aware that Earth spends most of its cosmic cycles within the galactic night, outside of the photon band. Currently, we are within the center of the Alcyone spiral, which puts us in the center of the photon band. These energetic frequencies propel the awakening and upliftment of consciousness. When we are within the galactic night, it is very difficult to awaken and to remember our original, divine nature. For more information about this, please read “The Pleiadian Agenda: A New Cosmology for the Age of Light”, written by Barbara Hand Clow, published by Bear & Co., 1995.

We have all chosen to incarnate here on Earth at the end of one grand 26,000 plus year cycle and at the beginning of a new one. This does not come without turmoil, trial, and tribulation. The end of something old and the beginning of something new requires letting go, deconstruction, breakdown, rebuilding. We are now at the end of a very dark age, as as humanity awakens with the help of the presence of many thousands of starseeds now incarnated here on Earth, we are experiencing the grand deconstruction of the thousands of years long Age of Separation.

It is an exciting time to be alive and to be in a “physical” body! We each now have the opportunity to choose where we stand on the spectrum of awakening and ascension. As we awaken, we remember our true divine nature as fractals of the one divine unified consciousness, as expanding light, in form, and as co-creators of experiences. As we return to unity consciousness, we metaphorically “spit out” the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. The density and frequency of that “food” no longer nourishes us. We crave once again the fruit of the Tree of Life, which allows us to be in constant flow, in the zero point of a divine unified field of creation.

From hardship, survival, victim consciousness we are finally returning to mastery, unity, and peace on Earth. We each have to make the choice to live in the higher dimensions, and it is our level of consciousness that will continue to determine how we experience the next years as at least part of humanity transitions out of density and into unity.

Animal logic: interpreting aberrant behavior

romantic squirrels

Dearest readers,

For the last two years, an otherwise ordinary-looking squirrel has been targeting very specific plants in my porch flower containers and viciously and systematically shredding the plants until nothing remains but the stub of a root. This creature, whom I have dubbed “Psycho Squirrel”, does not eat the plants. He, and I am assuming, perhaps erroneously, based on his deliberate and aggressive yet sneaky behavior, that he is a male, has occasionally garlanded my wooden fence with shreds of geraniums.

vintage squirrel illustration

Squirrels are supposed to be repelled by geraniums.

My initial response to this squirrel’s erratic behavior was to feel upset and even a bit angry. I love all animals, but I was having difficulty feeling affection for his less than lovable behavior.

squirrel

When people on my local neighborhood social network regularly vent about package thieves and other nefarious individuals who delight in petty crimes and burglaries in our area, their reactions, while more heated and intense than my response to my rodent visitor, reminded me of my own thoughts about package thieves and such.

Matt Squirrell

Generally, humans are very protective of their property, their belongings, and they become quite angry and aggressive when their territory is invaded. Sending unconditional love to these perpetrators is outside of the realm of most people’s experience and ability.

squirrel meme.jpg

Since I spend much of my time and energy focusing on raising my energetic frequency and working towards unity and coherence in my body, mind, heart, and energy field, the behavior of this erratic, fluffy-tailed being intrigued me. Perhaps he is not a simple ne’er-do-well bent on tearing up flowers. Perhaps he is a messenger from Gaia (Mother Earth), and his actions have been misinterpreted by me. Perhaps I need to send him (and our relationship) unconditional love despite the vegetation decimation in which he seems to delight.

potato weed parable

As a gardener on this third density realm of experience, I struggle with the concept that some plants (people, animals, trees) are considered more valuable, more important than others. In my heart of hearts, all beings are conscious and have specific talents, properties, beauty, and energy. No being is more important than another, no matter how humble in appearance.

Wicked_Plants

Some people say a “weed” is a plant that is the wrong place. Perhaps a plant becomes named a “weed” when it is perceived by a lower density being, by a state of consciousness that divides, confines, compartmentalizes, judges. Because we, for the most part, still live in duality while striving for unity consciousness (some of us do!), our gardens are also subject to judgment.

The message of the squirrel, as I interpret it, leads me to question my gardening practice. I have written of this dilemma before in this blog. By tearing up my asters this spring, and my geraniums last growing season, the squirrel was destroying the “privileged plants”, who get to live in containers on the porch, with lovely store-bought soil, compost, and plant food. The wild plants, of which there are a great variety who propagate themselves  throughout my front and back yard – and the types of plants also vary to some degree from year to year – are not allowed, for the most part, to live in the designated flower beds or containers.

plants in containers

And while I regret doing it, I do pull up certain plants to favor others. I do not resort to using poisons of any kind. But think about it! In our human societies, we constantly judge certain people. Put them in categories. Decide that some should be punished, put to death. Some enjoy great privileges, while others constantly struggle to survive. Certain body types and appearances are considered beautiful and desirable, while others are judged ugly and unlovable. I believe that when we live from the heart, these judgmental practices fall away. The heart is a great unifier.

weeds and flowers

This institutional plant racism or segregation does not obey the Law of One. How can I be aligned with my higher self and in service to Gaia and to continue to garden in the old way, with hierarchies of plants, separated beds? Should a New Earth garden be a confusion of weeds and cultivated plants? Areas of intentional planting with other areas left intact? I don’t quite have an answer to this question yet. But the question itself intrigues me. How do we garden in the fifth dimension?

New Earth garden.jpg

I do talk to my plants, to the trees, the stars, the air, water, rocks, and clouds. I apologize to the tiny trees and seedlings which I remove from my yard. Each time I grasp a tiny stem and pull the roots from their hold in the Earth, I feel twinges of sadness. And I know that Nature herself is quite harsh on small trees. Very few reach maturity. Perhaps I am just one of the hazards in the eco-system. Still, to love the plants unconditionally, while loving myself unconditionally is my goal. My intuition tells me that I simply need to listen to the plants more. Sometimes, I ask certain plants if they could please move somewhere else.

listening to plants

In any case, Psycho Squirrel has inspired a thought process and a questioning of how we, as human beings, interact with our natural environment. I feel much improvement to our quality of life in human societies would come if we did slow down and took the time to listen to plants, animals, rocks, the soil, trees, the air, and the clouds. The ability to understand all of creation is inside of each of us. Of that I am certain. We simply need to be still, and to remember.

The Lighthouse: an ascension poem

amazing-lighthouse-landscape-photography-103

An amorphous sac pulsing with bile punched me

touched my body and attempted to ravage my feelings, my peace

It was anger. It was fear. Could I stand it, stand up to it, with it, not give in to a body’s wish for deliverance?

Am I a doctor for the pain of the world? Can my light engulf the suffering that a sea of victimization has washed over billions of beings?

A squirrel crushed flat into a paper cut-out. Deleted from the world by a careless driver.

The beauty of a plant unfolding into a flower called unwanted. Tearing into the velvety delicacy of a perfected structure, ripping the roots clinging to home soil and gravel.

We waver. We the lighthouses. We are here. We have been here. But no one, barely anyone can see us. Punched, billowed, slaughtered, we have bounced back. But barely.

Still we are here. Bringing sight where blindness thrives. Delivering sound, rich, melodious tones into the harsh dissonance of imbalance, greed, dominance.

A wrinkled time in which pulsing brain chants uniformity for all. We the lighthouses wonder when the sleeping, mumbling, chanting ones will awaken. We are tired and sometimes lonely. Our friends are the plants, the animals, the soil, and the water.

The humans are seething. Fear flows through them as programmed, but a few are tired of being afraid. They don’t know who is producing and directing the fear, and who is eating it and thriving from it. They don’t know, but they are tired too. I feel it.

They are tired too.

How can we, the lighthouses, help to heal humanity, dear Earth, dear animals and plants? It feels easier, so much easier to help Gaia. To send love to the water, though our bodies, minds, hearts. The water in our bodies communicates so easily to the water in the plants, the trees, the animals, the clouds. It is instantaneous.

Humans are hard to help. The programs are powerful. Their sleep so deep.

They beat us. They resist. They are full of opinions. I want to help, but I am tired. Tired of fear, of anger, of suffering, sickness, pain, conflict. My rituals of transmutation of fear into rainbows…are they helping?

The skies are healing. Clarity is coming where there were so many devious cloud impersonations. There I find and see hope.

As the demon shadows emerge from the humans, I find hope too. The darkness programmed must emerge for the healing to take place. Those shapeless bags of ugliness which have pinned us to the tarmac, never allowing us to dream of flight…

It is time. Time to release the darkness. A sea of jelly, countless globular blobs emerge from human brains, cell structures, they float filling the air with their seething thought forms. Terrorists unleashed, they hit us as we try not to flail or give in to their unreasonable demands and criticisms.

This is the question, dear lighthouses: the air is full of human suffering. It is being released, and it is hitting us full force. Can we beam for billions? Right now, can we be the light they refuse to see or embody? We are the healers. We are here at this critical time to bring forward the alchemical magic that we know helps and heals.

Possessed, they resist our help, and we cannot force the light upon them. We just continue to shine and hope that the better and best become easier to see as the blobs dissolve in our proximity.

Rainbow privilege: a poem

rainbow sphere spinning lights

When black, the life of matter dissolves blood and bone

into chaos and song

Striving to spin golden straw from a hard-won mouth

gasping for voice.

The triumph from darkness tears a rent

into the dark, silent hold of infinity

Opening a portal, ever expanding

The bitter taste of defeat, of tooth shattering repression

springing back from the microcosm of despair

Blossoming upon awakening

into an iridescent spherical pillow, upon which lies spent then restored

a tender head of scrappy curls and weakened limbs.

Privilege of an odyssey chosen

descent into darkness, separation, disease, lack, exploitation

to return in an upwards spiral to a flowering of song

Smatterings of equations, characters behind the screen of appearances

The rainbow is a skin to the light body

akin to the prejudice of a world where matter is real

And where “real” things matter.

Where categories and bodies separate and alone

Solitude dissolves into symphony

When art opens the thousand-winged eyes of a butterfly wing,

revealing truth where

one reality is but a web of close-knitted lies

helped together only by the beliefs held by multitudes.

When white, the life of matter clatters and clinks

like coins against marble, granite, and platinum.

Titanium hard-veined blue and cold, embracing separation from the mirror

believing itself to be the Light, the one the only

Wishing to live in a world that is no mirror

To stand hard, tall, robotic on a stage

casting no shadow

Wishing even to banish shadow behind the hardest and most finite door.

Is the shadow of darkness pure source light?

The gift of shadow is the lovely spiral of growth of a plant towards the sun.

A child emerges into being by choice, fully knowing the challenges to be faced

Then forgetting, contracts dissolved into the meatiness of shade, infant emerges from ether, so brave to confront the unknown.

Human being, all flush with iridescence.

We all come here, draped in forgetfulness.

Draped in the shadow of not knowing who we are, why we are here.

The shadow is the teacher of the light.

Dear rainbow, we thank you.

We, fractal fragments of a single source orchestrator

are here. Breaking away to chip into a kaleidoscopic choking

Then explosion of two hardened discs, black on white

into an expanding iris.

We are the all-seeing light

speaking in rainbow volumes

Bringing the Living Library back to life.

Back to light.

From Survive to Thrive: What is in between duality and unity

The-Obliteration-Room-Yayoi-Kusama-GoMA_yellowtrace_10

Dear readers,

2018 is going to be a year filled with turbulence and change. For many, it will most likely be a terrifying year, but my own heart is soaring with gladness. A sense of knowing tells me that the divine feminine is at last anchoring back into human consciousness. The long lost energies of receptivity, intimacy, patience, kindness, but also the darker feminine witch so long relegated to the collective basement of humanity is returning with its creative and healing powers.

1400_933.Urban_Tapestry_017_WingChan_MTR

The deep earthiness of living in complete alignment with Earth energy and consciousness in a physical body, so familiar to plants and to animals, has become foreign to human beings. Divorced from our bodies, our feelings, from one another, and from the consciousness of all things, we have over a period of centuries and millennia, forgotten our innate wisdom and creative abilities and have given nearly all of our personal power away. Living on Earth has been reduced to survival in conditions which are tantamount to living in the dimension called “Hell” by many religions. We are victims, most of the time just getting by. We rely on ourselves for so little, and our emotions and attention are constantly being manipulated by entertainment, news media, politicians, and a sense that we don’t have the ability to provide for ourselves or to keep our bodies healthy.

antony-gormley-pin-art

How do we move from merely surviving to thriving? How do we move back into our bodies? For me, the answer is both simple and complex. We must learn self-love. We must remember who we are as well as remember the great wisdom and awareness of the plants, the animals, and the Earth herself. Our cultures allow us only to consciously love and accept only a very small part of ourselves and of one another. The majority of our thoughts, feelings, impulses, ideas, desires are not acceptable to other people. And for the most part, our bodies are also not good enough to be loved as is. We are taught to  judge self and others mercilessly from the time we are still in diapers.

Blue-Order-Chaos-1050

Yet taking back our power and returning to a state of full empowerment requires our willingness to understand that everything is alive and conscious. The conventional education of all children conditions us all, regardless of the cultural background in which we are raised, to perceive the totality of the world which presents an extremely limited and mythological view of life. Thriving requires us to shed the skin of all that we once believed to be real and true and forces us to live in the now.

Here are some examples how all of us give our power away:

  1. We entrust the state of our health to doctors, thinking that so-called experts know more that we do about our own bodies and what we need to be healthy.
  2. We allow other people, also “experts” to tell us what we should or should not eat.
  3. We give away our self-love to people who tell us what is beautiful and what or who deserved to be admired or loved. We begin to criticize the way we look, and our hearts feel sad. This is very detrimental to our health.
  4. We believe that we cannot make a living doing the work we love, using our talents. We give away the majority of the waking hours of our adult lives to doing work that is not satisfying and which does not benefit the well-being of all people, animals, plants, and the planet.
  5. We rely on yet other “experts” to tell us how to relate to other people, including in intimate relationships.
  6. We condition our children to fit into a system, criticizing the parts of their personalities and behaviors, and even medicating them so that they will fit in. By doing this, we give away large portions of our psychic energy.

IMG_1962

Before we can fully take back our power, there is a lot of work to be done. Much of this work we can accomplish by looking within our own hearts and minds and by learning to embrace the parts of self that we have neglected for so long. This is a healing process. We can change our own DNA and modify our own cellular structure by releasing energetic blocks caused by patterns of living and thinking that are harmful to the human as a creative being.

The Earth, as a conscious planetary being, is also evolving and healing, and this evolution involves some turmoil. It is easy to observe the chaos around us as our political, religious, financial, educational, and other institutions and established ways of being that embodied survival, manipulation, and exploitation founder and collapse. This cultural paradigm which required that we allow ourselves, the plants, the animals, the water, air, minerals, and soil to be used as resources is quickly shifting and deconstructing, as is the planet herself.

1911398-ZPZICGWF-7

The transition between survival and thriving is made more difficult by the fact that most people are still not conscious. There is a lot of fear, anger, and aggression embodied in people and in our institutions and way of life and being. For example, in my neighborhood, there is a considerable amount of crime. Break-ins, car theft, etc. The convention of duality that is so ingrained in people is hard to break. Those who steal embody disrespect of others and lack of self-love. By their actions, they speak a language which expresses that they feel the need to take from others what they feel they don’t deserve or cannot earn. They implicitly believe that the universe is not abundant, but they want to experience abundance through disrespect. Those who are victims of the thieving express fear and anger. They want to protect their way of life and their property. The possibility of a world in which there is enough for everyone and where everyone respects self and others seems unreachable, impossible.

sophia_sanner_08

How can this gap be breached? To create a way of life based on love and respect, it is necessary to face the monsters inside of each of us which prevent us from living together in a loving manner right now. Not everyone is ready to make the leap. Even those who are educated and who believe themselves to be spiritually evolved are not necessarily any further ahead than those who have been less privileged.

jung_3

The divine feminine has been suppressed from our cultures, institutions, from the light of day for thousands of years. All of the wisdom needed to create a balanced human being and balanced social structures have been kept from our awareness and out of reach of our love or of our intellect. To become creative beings once again and to let go of the passive-aggressive culture of a repressed feminine will take some work and some time.

minjae lee

In Dolores Cannon’s 2011 book “The New Earth: The Three Waves of Volunteers”,  she explains that while the Earth undergoes extensive turmoil in the form of mudslides, volcanic eruptions, and possibly a meteor which causes much of land to be temporarily submerged by water, many people will be taken temporarily to another location (another planet?) to weather the storm. I have heard several predictions that seem to indicate this possibility, though the state of our consciousness does seem to determine which timeline or outcome we will choose to experience during these times of turbulence. It will not be the same for everyone.

Abode-of-Chaos-15

There is some impatience within me, as I would love to see more people eager to take a great leap forward, embracing the ability to look inward and to use our consciousness to create new realities from within and with one another. We have such huge potential for love and for the creation of realities which benefit all people, animals, plants, and our beautiful planet. From chaos to a new order does not seem like such a great leap to me, but, then again, I know it is for most of us, who cannot yet imagine a world without struggle or fear. Most people still believe that reality is something fixed that is outside of self, that we do not have the power to change. How wrong they are!

Microsoft harmony ad

I am very much looking forward to life on New Earth, and I know that in 2018 my mission will begin to fully unfold and be unveiled even to myself. I hope that I will have the courage to live without compromise, fully aligned with my purpose and my mission to help humanity and the planet in this challenging transition.

Unmuting our connection to the natural world

Finland14

Dearest readers,

For thousands of years, we, as human beings, have accepted on one level to forget our identities and true abilities. And now, we are living in an unique time, where we are beginning to remember how powerful we once were and can be again. Beginning to know once again that we are sovereign beings and creators. That we don’t need religion, corporations, or governments to control us and to run our lives. That together, we co-create realities with the Universe. We choose to create harmony or disharmony. What we imagine is what we experience.

13643800_836577066475382_1537402115_n

When reading from ancient texts, at least what is given to us to peruse and not hidden away, we see that the peoples of civilizations that no longer exist, and some that still do (the indigenous peoples of Australia, South and Central America, the Native peoples of North America, Greenland, Siberia, parts of Europe, Africa, and Asia) were able to see and interact with beings that we currently are not able to perceive with our 3-D vision. Indigenous peoples of the world have always communicated with fairies, devas, gnomes, trolls, monsters, star people, clouds, volcanoes, trees, crystals, plants, unicorns, and other beings that we have assumed as simply inventions of the imagination.

crystal-cave-615

As we begin to remember, we start to realize that these beings are still very real. They are simply not visible or perceivable from our 3-D density. We need to raise our frequency in order to step up into a different level of reality, shifting our perception to a new reality. Once we step out of the restrictive box in which we have chosen to live, inside of our heads, down into our hearts, the world comes alive again with wonder. We find our own power again when we begin to listen, slow down, and see the true beauty and fantastic nature of reality.

Historiae_animalium_1551_De_Monocerote

The other day, I listened to an interview on YouTube with a man who has devoted his life to crystals, and he described his relationship with his quartz crystals, each of which is unique. He talks to them, asks them questions, listens to them.

angelpsychic

When you understand that everything that we perceive and all that we don’t yet perceive is made up of conscious energy forms and that light, sound, air, and water carry information, then the manner in which you perceive and interact with your reality changes.

IMG_8840

Just as you can interact with stones, rocks, crystals, the Earth as a conscious planet, you can also interact with plants and trees. All human beings possess this latent ability, and some of us have greater stored experiences in these areas than others. Our human languages actually restrict our ability to communicate with the other non-human language speaking entities on and off of our planet. Once you accept that you are able to communicate with animals, plants, rocks, extra-terrestrial beings, and terrestrial beings that you cannot currently see…anything at all, you become more receptive to this possibility.

IMG_9350

Little by little, it becomes easier to talk to non-verbal beings, or beings whose language we have not learned at home or at school. Listening, however, is more challenging. As human beings, we have learned to be very busy. Listening is not our best skill, because it requires patience and is an ability in which multi-tasking is a hindrance rather than a help. After slowing down and asking questions, the next step to communicating with plants, animals, insects, rocks is to be silent and to wait. The answers may not come right away. They may not arrive in the form of words. Pictures, sounds, events, scents, a sense of knowing, or memories may be triggered. By learning to observe your body, your inner sight or intuition, your dreams, and what happens around you outside in the world, you will begin to understand the poetic language of the heart of reality. This is the place where art and science intersect.

human heart sculpture

It is said that the human heart is a portal or gateway to other realms. It is a star gate, just as a spider web or an archway may also be a portal. By becoming more sensitive to our inner worlds as well as to the subtle details of the world around us, as it unfolds to us, moment by moment, we unmute our connection to what we now call the physical world.

kmacdowell heart

You can ask your body, your organs and cellular structure any question for which you seek an answer. Wait for the response, and learn how your body communicates with you. It will be different from person to person. Learn to understand the plants that live inside and outside your house. Get to know them and observe how they change from day to day. Be patient. Slow down. Stay in the moment. Think about what you really would like to know about yourself, about life, your health, the planet, and the nature of reality. The plants, rocks, insects, animals, and the planet have been here for many millions of years, and they have a lot of knowledge and information stored within.

webs

We have ignored the source of so much discovery by muting our connection to our home planet and her inhabitants. In fact, we have muted our connection to our own bodies by isolating ourselves inside our heads and restricting knowledge to information that we have learned from others, not trusting our own intuition and our own ability to interact with the myriads of beings who are our natural family.

Awaken your intuition. Unmute your connection to the planet, and the beginning of a wonderful journey awaits you!

Returning to the Garden

For A&E

Hello dearest readers,

Have you ever had the feeling that something is missing from your life, or that you can’t quite remember just why you are here, living on Earth in the body you now inhabit?

I suspect that most of us who take the slightest amount of time and effort to be reflective and look inward have experienced these sensations of yearning or emptiness.

What is it that we humans have lost and wish to regain? Where did we once live where we felt entirely fulfilled and where our talents and emotions were fully engaged?

Genesis-1

My personal suspicion is that some of the answers to these questions lie in the myth we call “The Garden of Eden” and the story of Adam and Eve. The avatar couple had all of their needs met while living in beautiful Eden. They experienced no shame or guilt, and automatically knew to love themselves without question. All of their needs were met. They did not need to work, nor did they experience suffering in order to learn. There was no karma there, nor was there sickness or death. Adam and Eve were powerful, but there was no power over others, no competition. There was God above them, but God was friendly and always helpful. Not the frightening God of the Old Testament always threatening to kill, erase, plunder, or crush the disobedient.

crumb eden

So what happened? What really happened that reduced the power of the human being and introduced all of us to lack, separation, suffering, death, and judgment of self and others? What took us away from our true human nature, beauty, alignment with the planet, all animals and plants and self? How did we lose our power to be always healthy and even immortal?

Genesis-3-3b

The event that is ascribed to Eve (without permission) eating and sharing the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge is an ambiguous lynch pin. What about the Tree of Life? Why did the serpent (who had legs at the time) want the humans to learn about separation, living in the head, competition, lack, pain, karma, death? Why did the humans choose this experience and abdicate totality, beauty, magic, love, peace, and immortality?

Crumb-Genesis (snake)

I do believe that consciousness is an ever-evolving process, and that in order to be fully conscious, fully grateful, and completely appreciative and aware of the beauty and power that is nature and that is human, perhaps Adam and Eve chose to experience separation from truth and separation from self. According to R. Crumb’s cartoon version of Genesis (see illustrations), God appears jealous and unwilling to give the freedom to Adam and Eve, once conscious of their lot, to choose immortality and god status as co-creators of realities. I don’t agree with his assessment, which poses God as a fiendish, google-eyed, harsh being of judgment and separation, and not an infinitely powerful creator and force of unlimited love.

genesis_021

When we live in our minds (which is what the Tree of Knowledge represents), we give up a way of life that is fully connected, intuitive, and conceptual. We give up living from the heart, and we give up our full gifts and power.  We become susceptible to influence and manipulation. When we give up our own powers and connection to all that is, we can be tricked. The ideas of others and a reality created by others is suddenly more important that our own ability to create realities that please us and make us happy and fulfilled. We give up our own godhood and position as a conscious artist in the Universe.

tree-of-life

I believe that humanity is now experiencing a return to the garden. We are beginning to remember, individually and collectively, what it is to live from the heart. To be reconnected to our intuition, to the planet, to the Universe itself. We have fully experienced what it is to be separate, powerless, vulnerable, victims. Now we are taking our power as well as our personal responsibility back, and it is a very exciting time to be alive.

in the garden

As Gaia tosses much of humanity about in powerful storms and earthquakes, some of us remember that the planet’s consciousness is connected to our own. And we talk to her, give her thanks for her gifts. We ask her to gentle the storms and to work with us to re-create a new way for humans to live compassionately and cooperatively with all of nature. We learn from the outcomes of these terrible earth events to help one another and remember how good it feels to know we are connected and united as one with every other human and animal on the planet.

As humans hurt and maim one another in wars and terrorist attacks, those who still live fully in separation thrive on fear. Our media continues to feed unquestioning listeners on the pap of fear, and so many gobble it up, not realizing that we each have the power to work together to create the realities we want to experience. More and more people around the world are rejecting war, conflict, violence as conflict resolution. Increasingly, the omnipresence of fear as news will be decreasing. Returning to the garden is a gradual process, but we can speed it up.

The more we are hopeful and positive in our thoughts, choices, and actions, the more quickly we create an atmosphere of positive change. Working with one another instead of against one another is a move back towards the garden. Honoring intuition, art, conceptual thinking is another way of moving humanity closer to our true nature.

Restoring dignity to the feminine, reducing self-judgment and focusing on self-love are other ways to return to Eden. The process has begun, and it cannot be reverted. Humanity has completed the experience of separation, and those who have thrived and profited from what some people call “the service to self” system do whatever they can to prolong our pain and their gains. By refusing to cooperate with an idea that we all live in a single dimension in a single reality, we take back our power. By refusing to constantly react to “news” that presents our collective experience of reality as a fearful one in which we are constantly in need of self-protection from our fellow man and woman, we also empower ourselves.

Living from the heart will be very new to many. Most people are completely out of touch with their intuition, and most of us have deeply ingrained habits involving judging self and others and feeling as if we must grasp onto what we have in order to survive. Yet, little by little, we will realize that with the power of our minds and hearts, we can create everything that we all need and desire. Beauty and magic are literally at our fingertips, trembling.

I am very excited to be alive right now. Even though turmoil shakes the very core of the worlds of so many, I am breathing in beauty, wisdom, and love as I type these words onto my keyboard. We can choose what we experience. Now and always. I live in the garden now, and every day I explore new places and possibilities within this magical domain. Will you come join me?

I speak for the weeds (a poem)

chipmunk and weeds.jpg

From a matrix of sand, spewing gravel, humus, and a heartfelt explosion

of abundance

I sing unending joy. I drive, poke, peek, push

From within the ranks of green soldiers constantly mown down in an acceptance of defeat

I rise up, we rise up, diverse, tangled, fleshy, juicy, untamed

We are the voice and talents of our beloved undomesticated mother.

Living unframed, we are the wild women

shamed into invisibility or porn

Our abilities mostly unseen, our beauty defamed

We are pushed outside the acceptable window of vision

Those who purportedly seek status, perfection, power

cannot see us

We know no hierarchy

Only freedom entices us. We are the artists and purveyors of the green side of the brain

The heart of darkness of humanity has plunged us into a blind eye

plumbed the heart of being into a footnote.

Yet we embody the feminine power of birth, life,  healing, and the creative juice

Infinite shapes, textures, chemicals, potentials, striving

We remain pure, never hybridized, not studied, used, developed

Just poisoned, attacked, eliminated

We bother the perfect unity of control. We are not an image with which you can comfort yourself

We hear of the genocide of peoples

We are told of the extermination of animals

The endangerment of species

Yet here we live, wild

in the perfection of multiplicity

An infinite expression of life force

We are the motion inside of you

The water that feeds you

The medicine that heals you

We are the voice of love from your mother

The mother you never embrace, thank, or appreciate. Your toes have not wriggled near our roots and the worms for so long.

Yet our contact would restore you to balance and bring you peace and health.

I speak for the weeds, whose passionate expression of indomitable life cannot be crushed

Remember, gardener.

What are you growing? Who are you helping? What are you creating?

We are here to help.

A layered imagination: receiving and transmitting light

kaleidoscope___leaves_grapes_2_by_rohar-d3kzlkc

Hello dearest readers,

Something happened to me recently in my imagination which I have never experienced before. I was playing out an active imaginary scene in my mind’s eye, when another image which was not intentionally orchestrated by my conscious self came and layered itself on top of my virtual movie. Like an overlay in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, the image of some plants was translucent but clearly visible.

This set me to thinking that there is either more than one source to the imagination, or more than one frequency of consciousness in which imagination can simultaneously play out. In other words, we can function on several channels at the same time, emitting and receiving imagery on various levels. In fact, perhaps I was transmitting my images in my conscious scenario that I was playing out. Maybe someone received my transmission and was responding to me.

Like a television that has multiple windows so we can watch more than one channel at the same time, our mind’s eye could very well be a receiver/transmitter. A sort of smartphone-like device that sends and receives  images.

In a holographic universe, where all of consciousness is entangled, we are constantly sending and receiving encoded messages here on Earth and perhaps beyond the confines of our planet. From what I understand, what we have been told is our junk DNA is in fact, when activated, responsible for our being fully connected to all information in the universe.

I have been working hard at cleansing myself of conditioned programs – all of the aspects of the social paradigm that keep us working jobs we hate, locked into fear, judgment of self and others, blame, shame, self-loathing, lack, and general misery. The more I clear out, the more room there is to receive and emit light and love – which are the fundamental characteristics of a free human being. It is exciting to think about creating without fear. Simply being my true self, but also communicating and sharing with other creative beings anywhere. We are our own Internet, and once we become fully online and connected, we won’t need technology as we know it any more.

I am looking forward to the day when I will be able to communicate instantly with plants and animals. Outside of the conceptual confines of time and space, I imagine seeing and hearing the sounds and sights of a fully alive and connected universe. As I shut down the chatter of my conditioned mind and shift my intelligence down to my heart and throughout my entire body, I begin to see with all of my cells. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, between waking and sleep, I can see the geometric codes of reality, alive and flowing. Our reality is a living kaleidoscope, and we are part of this fabulous design.

My third eye sees plants and flowers: masculine and feminine aspects of insight

DSCN6195.JPG

Dearest readers,

Whenever I paint, I feel as if the source of the images and ideas comes from a deep well somewhere inside of my body. The imagery emerges from this place, the source of which is unseen. Yet it is a distinct place which exists somewhere around my solar plexus. Many interesting pictures and dreams come through from my mind’s eye, which I guess most would call the third eye or pineal gland. These images are visible inside of my head. Last night, in my dream, my “regular” eyebrows had fallen out, and a new set was growing in below the original eyebrows, just below the bone! A lot of the time when I am awake or in the state between sleep and wakefulness, these images spontaneously appear, often depicting a great variety of flowers and plants. Sometimes I see moving geometric shapes or other visions. The photos from this post are from my own garden.

In general, it seems that people consider the Earth or natural world to be part of the lower realms. I personally feel and know that the human connection to Gaia or Mother Earth is as crucially important and spiritually significant as our connection to the cosmos, sky, sun, soul, and higher self. The physical body is also part of this equation. I believe that there is a clear reason why the Judeo-Christian religious system has squelched the feminine out of its belief system.  The body, the Earth, emotions, sexuality – all of these aspects of being seemed to have been consistently problematic for the establishment of religious power and dogma. The feminine aspects of love, receptivity, emotion, physical pleasure each embody an important measure of human creativity and sovereignty. Without the feminine, the human being is weakened, disconnected from a huge part of self as well as from the consciousness of the planet, and is essentially disempowered. This is how in our collective past we allowed ourselves to be conditioned and enter a program of fear, punishment and reward, guilt and judgment.

DSCN6207

So plants, art, images, and the physical body appear to be my personal gateway to Mother Earth and to the divine feminine. This energy connection for me is an easy one to access. It is natural and requires no effort. A lot of people communicate with their more masculine aspect through the third eye, channeling guides and other beings. Ultimately, since we are all one, there is no being separate from self. Which means that masculine and feminine aspects are also part of the unity of being of which we are all a piece.

DSCN6212

When I wish to communicate with my more masculine, cosmic aspects, I just realized that it is through writing, and more precisely, automatic writing that I can receive responses to my questions. I ask a question, then I wait for words to come, which I record, one by one. Is the source of information different than the one which delivers the images for my paintings or about healing plants? I don’t really know. Possibly yes, possibly no. I don’t think the portal for automatic writing is located in the same area of my body as the one which gives me intuitive images, which are more global or conceptual and less linear. Cultivating patience and the ability to listen seem to be necessary skills or even talents in order to better receive information from the connected self and body.

DSCN6213

More than anything, I want my DNA to be fully activated. To have that fiber optic rainbow bridge of energy and information coursing through my light body and my physical body. For my heart and emotional bodies to be clear and functioning at a high level. To remember who I am and why I am here on Earth at this time. To me, this is the image of happiness. To be a fully connected human being, operating with total alignment and full integrity.

DSCN6206

So much of my life has been spent doubting, searching, trying out different activities and skills, exploring different places. Basically trying to find bits and pieces of myself by interacting with the world. And the world, both natural and manufactured, interacts with me. This is where synchronicities come in. For example, I have been decorating my Little Free Library, which is close to being installation ready, with imagery that is meaningful to me.

dino_feather_wide

I found a video one day about feathers being visual triggers for DNA activation and awakening to a higher level of consciousness. The color of the feather affects the symbolic meaning of the encounter. And so I began to paint gray, black, and white feathers on the side panels of the library. And on the back, a pair of Eastern bluebirds and a black and white magpie. As I was driving my car yesterday, I happened to be behind an older model Lincoln Towncar. An image of drifting white cutout feathers, just like on my library side panels, was stuck on the rear window of the vehicle. Backwards, I deciphered the word dream at the bottom of the decal. And the license number of the car was RAA. (Ra being the Egyptian god embodying the Law of One, unity consciousness, and ascension.)

The physical realm, our bodies, and nature are powerful communicators, if we pay attention to details. Just this past week, I have been visited by a beautiful snapping turtle, who bears great wisdom about patience, leaving behind the old, and beginning new chapters in my life. Yesterday, I saw a magnificent red-tailed hawk, much larger than any I have ever seen, soaring above the lake where I walk my dog. The hawk teaches how to see the bigger picture, to hone in and focus on solutions given by source rather than waste energy chasing after ways to control outcomes. These animals are great gifts.

DSCN6190

I know that it is from a place of fear that I wish to control my life, and letting go of that control all while embracing insight, intuition, and wisdom from the natural world and from spirit is the path that brings ease, abundance, beauty, and joy. Having spent many years working through fear, pain, suffering, lack, worry, and stress, I am ready to create something different for my life. So grateful am I to the animals, to the imagery of plants and the information and wisdom that comes in me and through me from so many lifetimes of experience.

DSCN6209

All human beings were made to be connected to Earth and sky, like the beautiful trees that grace our planet. We are moving trees, living libraries. All of us connected to one another, to the planet, and beyond. All of our questions and yearnings are heard. Why is it so hard to let go of the familiar system, even if it keeps us in pain, lonely, and separated from all that is? This is the big challenge for all of us. The time to remember has come. It is a joyful time. At last, we will be able to sit back, relax, love ourselves, and enjoy our lives as we help one another and work together to create harmony within ourselves and within our communities once again.
