Cleansing with chlorophyll

liquid chlorophyll

Dearest readers,

I like doing research and finding natural remedies for the many challenges that face us in daily life. My son just left for a semester abroad in Ecuador. He has been studying in Finland for the last year and a half. Every time we move to a new environment, our body must quickly make complex shifts in our entire system in order to adapt.

xfjl6885[1]

Quito, Ecuador is a beautiful, post-colonial city perched in the foothills of the Andes mountains at 9,350 feet in altitude. Helsinki, Finland is an equally gorgeous neo-classical/art deco and modern European city located on the Gulf of Finland at a mere 56 feet or 19 meters in altitude. This is a pretty extreme contrast and challenge for the human body, even for a 19 year old young man who is in pretty great shape physically!

img_5797[1]

My research revealed that high altitude causes the blood to thicken as the amount of oxygen in the air thins. Liquid chlorophyll supplements are generally not the natural form (chlorophyll a or b) but a semi-synthetic form called chlorophyllin in which the magnesium ring in the center of the molecular chain is replaced by copper, making the substance water soluble. Chlorophyll acts in the bone marrow to stimulate red blood cell production and is in some ways similar to hemoglobin. So the blood of plants is a cousin to our own primary bodily fluid! Liquid chlorophyll supplements are used to treat a variety of conditions, but altitude sickness is one of the primary applications.

green-vegetables-with-chlorophyll

Generally lightly mint flavored, liquid chlorophyll creates a dark green beverage when added to plain filtered or mineral water. Best consumed on an empty stomach before bed-time and/or early in the morning, liquid chlorophyll has many benefits for the  human body. I have observed several myself, as I always experiment with supplements on my own body before recommending them to others.

I have noticed the following improvements in my own health since starting to use liquid chlorophyll:

  1. Improved digestion and bowel movements.
  2. Significant improvement of oral thrush condition, even when consuming some sugars and starch.
  3. Significant reduction of itching in scalp, even after an entire week of not washing hair.
  4. Weight loss without modification of diet, especially around waist area.
  5. Feeling energetic, even with little sleep.
  6. Reduction of aches and pains caused when eating inflammatory foods such as gluten and carbohydrates.
  7. Brighter coloration of fingernails, suggesting improved blood circulation.
  8. Reduction of peripheral neuropathy and leg pain caused by electrolyte imbalance.

My son did experience loose stools after consuming the liquid chlorophyll supplement, so dosages should be adjusted accordingly. I think it can make an excellent mouthwash as well, though it will temporarily make your tongue turn green. Many people use liquid chlorophyll as a natural deodorant, since it detoxes the body and cleanses the blood, flushing out and reducing overgrowth of bacteria and fungi. Some claim that chlorophyll alkalizes the body and works to combat aflatoxins that can cause allergies and liver damage as well as preventing cancer.

The Sun and the Original Organic Matrix

sun and rainbow

Dearest readers,

In the last day or two, I have been guided to watch a couple of videos (Solar Logos: Resurrecting the Solar Stargate System, Paliadorian Diamond Sun Races, and Disclosure ) and (Increasing Human Energy by Harnessing the Sun’s Energy According to Nikola Tesla) which describe how human consciousness is naturally fed energetically through our Sun. These documents explain how the artificial consciousness matrix which has been feeding off of human consciousness for thousands of years with persistent and escalating efforts to block our connection to the Sun, which is also a natural portal to Christed or unity consciousness.

Halo

Our physical bodies need sunlight to produce energy. The photonic light produced by our sun which stimulates the production of chlorophyll in plant matter appears to work in a corresponding manner in the energy centers of our cells, affecting our mitochondrial DNA. We absorb sunlight indirectly through the foods that we consume. Nikola Tesla understood this principle. I believe that when we sit in a receptive position to meditate or to absorb the “heilstrom” as per the teachings of German healer and early starseed, Bruno Groening, we are also absorbing the harmonizing energetic frequencies of light particles, to which our energy bodies are particularly sensitive and receptive.

sunlight and plants

As we near the end of the reign of thousands of years of subjugation of our consciousness, for which our energies have been confused, diverted, and vampirized by a small group of elites and extraterrestrial beings, it is now time to celebrate once again our own cosmic connections to the Sun and to the Earth, respectively male and female principles. Both poles are necessary for our well-being and for a peaceful cohabitation on Earth. The feminine and masculine have been intentionally fractured from one another in order to create chaos and division in our personal lives, interpersonal relationships, and social structures.

light-being-transition

At this time, we still are experiencing desperate attempts by the dark magicians to mask the sun through veils of expanded contrails, in addition to the heavy metals and other toxins and mind-controlling substances that these contrails are designed to distribute into our air, water, soil, and into the bodies of plants, trees, birds, animals, and human beings. Without the sun, we cannot live, and indeed, at this time, we are still struggling to survive. It is difficult to thrive in the current climate of disease, interpersonal and interracial conflict and endless violence and distractions.

Dying Earth

Of course, it is up to us, as human beings, to awaken to our own power and to take responsibility for our own health, for the realities we create for ourselves and for the collective. The progressive collective awakening programmed for this time, about which the dark magicians have been aware for thousands of years, is coming about despite all efforts to suppress it. The increasingly intense waves of solar flashes bathing the Earth’s atmosphere are making the exposure of the efforts of the dark ones easier to perceive on various levels, even for the deeply conditioned.

Magnificent CME Erupts on the Sun - August 31

The awakening comes in waves, with the Starseeds in the lead, to assist those who  follow, to bring calm, guidance, and our own personal experiences in integration of trauma, shadow work, self-love, self-responsibility, and activation of our innate abilities.

The original higher frequency human beings lived in harmony with one another, fully respectful of the plants, animals, air, water, soil, and with the consciousness of the planet. For those of us who choose to raise our consciousness with the planet (or ascend), we will return to a joyous and creative way of life, in which we enjoy full freedom, and in which we take full responsibility for everything that we create in our lives.

The time of manipulation and victimization is essentially over, and for those of us who are ready, we can now begin to enjoy the fruits of a long, difficult journey from the shadows into the light.

What is planetary ascension?

tree hug

Dearest readers,

I was recently listening to a recent (May 5th) interview with Tolec, of the Andromeda Council, with Mark Kimmel, of the Cosmic Paradigm network.

deep space

A lot of fascinating information was shared during the course of this interview, but one element in particular caught my attention. Mark Kimmel explained that at one time, many hundreds of millions of years ago, our home planet Earth was about ten times as large as she is now. Not only was she so much larger, but she was much less dense. He described the state of that higher dimensional Earth as being in a very fluid, even gaseous state.

Dromund_Kaas_TOR_new

The ascension process is our collective rise, in our case, as human beings, but also involving all of the animals, plants, trees, rocks, soil, and even our entire galaxy to a higher level of consciousness. As we collectively move through a part of space which we have not visited for over 26,000 years, we begin to expand and shed density. Density could be equated with separation, poverty consciousness, dark ages, fear, and violence. This cycle has been characterized by global and civil wars, interpersonal conflict, competition, and power struggles, as well as a domination of the feminine by masculine energies, causing a grave energetic imbalance. During this long, dark age, it has been easy to manipulate human consciousness and to enslave humanity without the consent or even the awareness of most human beings. Even worse, most of us have forgotten our true identity and have lost awareness that we are part of an infinite cosmic neighborhood, with family members flung far across the Universe and even within the planet herself.

star-people

At one time, humanity and the Earth, in her expanded state, did coexist in this more fluid form in which time was not linear, and in which our bodies and matter did not seem so solid. In other words, in that time-space of higher dimension, we did not experience absolute separation from one another.

TransracialVsGender-Link

As today we see people struggling with identity, and we experience terms such as trans-racial or trans-sexual, gender fluid, and basically, more fluidity and less rigidity in how we define ourselves and our relationships with one another, we can see how we are moving from a very compact, dense, and separate state to one in which we are more intertwined, less defined by outside terminology. We are beginning to awaken, to take back our power and our responsibility for our thoughts, feelings, and self-determination.

griffon.jpg

The ancient Greeks and Romans of fairly relatively recent “ancient” history knew that Gaia, our Earth, was a conscious being. That she was populated with a host of beings, entities, and creatures that today we mostly cannot see and discount as imaginary. On a higher density planet, the spirits of the trees, the plants, the clouds…all of the “gods”, spirits, and “invisible” beings could be easily perceived. We are returning to that higher state of existence.

TreeVillage

Because in a higher density there is no linear time, that “original” reality still exists today. We are simply remembering who we once were, remembering how to communicate telepathically. Remembering that we are part of an infinite cosmic family. Remembering that the bodies we live in are but a temporary assignment and not a definitive definition of our being-ness and our identity.

Louis Janmot Poème de l'âme Le Vol de l_âme

I have heard that at this time, many former plantation owners have incarnated as African-Americans. All across the globe, the wisest shamans and chiefs of our global indigenous cultures have chosen to incarnate into people of all nationalities, ethnicities all over the planet. It is time for the “Tribe of Many Colors” to come together and to remember who we once were, and on which glorious dimension we once lived in complete harmony with self, with one another, with all of the plants, animals, and the planet herself.

Reincarnation

Planetary ascension is the process we are experiencing individually and collectively at this time. Triggers are everywhere to help us all to remember, at our own pace. The planet, like a growing tree, is literally expanding and losing density. This is the reason for the great Earth changes that are occurring at this time. The volcanic eruptions in Hawaii, the increasingly strong hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and other seismic and weather events will continue to escalate. As a tree grows, its bark cracks to allow the expansion of trunk growth to take place. This is a natural process for us and for the planet. Gaia is cracking open. She is expanding rapidly.

kilauea-volcano-hawaii-eruption

We all have the choice to expand with her. It is an exciting process, and we are all lucky to be here at this time to assist Gaia with her and with humanity’s ascension process.

We are here for this purpose, to support the planet, the animals, plants, the trees, the water, the air, and the soil, as well as to support one another. Don’t be afraid. Just dare to love, and your heart will expand with the heart of the planet.

The Conscious Diet: boosting what we know about food to what we know is good for our own bodies

wonderful-meals-lovingly

Dearest readers,

Many of us begin our walk up the road to higher consciousness by becoming more aware of our health and how politics, industry, and our current societal paradigm shapes our experience of life. Little by little, as our awareness increases and our memories of our innate wisdom begin to awaken, these perceptions expand and unfold.

magicpill

Last night, I was watching a well-made and worthwhile documentary on Netflix called The Magic Pill. The 2017 film delves into the age-old philosophy that the best medicine is food. After exploring global experience of chronic ailments by a variety of patients, the film extols the virtues of the ketogenic diet. When we eliminate carbohydrates from our diet (grains, sugars, most fruits) and replace them by meats, dairy products, vegetables, nuts and seeds, most people experience rapid improvement in their symptoms.

ke·toi·gen·ic di·et
noun

  1. a diet that tends to promote the metabolic formation of ketone bodies by causing the body to use fat (rather than carbohydrate) as its principal energy source.

Our current Standard American Diet, which has spread around the globe, has us eating a low fat, high carbohydrate diet, which promotes the development of a multitude of health issues (which we were told we would avoid by adopting a low fat diet high in whole grains) including diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and which aggravates the symptoms of autism and ADHD. A diet high in sugars and carbs creates an acidic environment in the body, favorable to anaerobic procreators such as cancer cells. Healthy cells require oxygen as fuel.

low carb diet

I have been aware of the ketogenic/intermittent fasting diets, which shares some similarities with the Paleo and  Atkins diets, through Dr. Joseph Mercola’s work. He has been promoting intermittent fasting the the benefits of eating a high fat/low carb diet rich in whole natural (unprocessed or minimally processed) foods for years. The raw food movement is also popular. As humanity ascends in consciousness, the density of the human body will eventually decrease. The food needed for the higher frequency body would move towards pure light, air, and water. Until our DNA structures, minds, emotions, and entire metabolism evolve to vibrate at that higher frequency, we will still need some form of food to fuel our cells. Raw plants are the closest we can get to consuming sunlight. Dr. Sebi, a healer with active innate knowledge of plants and the human body, called such foods “electric foods”, which give our mitochondria the fuel they need to maintain flow and homeostasis.

Dr. Sebi.png

What these diets do not take into account is our own consciousness, the consciousness of our cellular structure (the innate wisdom of the body), as well as the consciousness of plants, animals, and the planet.

Why is it that we are served an endless array of “miracle” solutions to our current health crises? Well-meaning people would like to find a single pathway to bring all people back to health. There are many reasons why a simple return for everyone back to a traditional diet is not as simple as it appears.

Book-bush-food-2.jpg

Because we are living in genetically diverse pool of people, for the most part, we are not certain of our heredity. We are all a mixed bag, some of us more than others. Indigenous groups of people who have never left their native soil and traditions are few and far between. Most of them, as reported in the film, have been diverted from their traditional diets by missionaries and colonialists, and have had their lifespans shortened dramatically in the process, and many now suffer from the chronic ailments that plague the peoples of the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Fes-Traditional-Food-Spread

This is where consciousness and tuning into our own bodies comes in. Because we have been separated by cultural amnesia from our traditional cultural diets and from a lifestyle that keeps us close to the Earth and its rhythms, and because we are exposed to so many toxins on a daily basis, we can no longer rely on tradition or on outside experts to tell us what we, as individuals, should eat from moment to moment, day to day.

english_breakfast

We must become our own experts. To be healthy, we must remember our intuitive abilities. A meditation practice, or the discipline to sit quietly with oneself and perhaps with a journal and to learn to ask our body questions and to wait patiently for answers is a way to begin to hear what our body wants us to eat. It may vary from day to day. We can be creative, and find our own way to hear what our body wants to share with us.

kerala_sadya

For example, we could go to the grocery store, stop in front of a mango, a pear, a bunch of spring onions, and ask: this, or that? Then wait and see how you feel. If you feel without inner conflict, and get a good resonance from one food or another, then it is something your body wants. Or, you might just imagine in your mind’s eye what your body craves. There is no specific rule or way how to connect with your body and your inner self.

grocery store

Post WWII German healer Bruno Groening always advised people to listen carefully to their bodies. Any symptoms you might experience in your body deliver critical information. Much of our contemporary pharmaceuticals merely disguise symptoms instead of interpreting them. Few medical practitioners attempt to understand what the body is trying to tell us is out of balance, or where we have been ignoring its attempts to communicate with us!

Bruno Groening

If you are anything like me, then you have cravings at certain times of the day. Are the cravings conditioned mental responses or emotional eating patterns? I often overeat or snack when I am bored, because I literally don’t feel fulfilled. When I am doing work that I enjoy or when I am outdoors, I don’t feel hungry or empty. I don’t even think about eating. Sometimes I eat to feel comforted. Working with our mental habits and conditioned ways of thinking about self is helpful. Emotional eating is often due to a misalignment of our true self with our lifestyle choices. I know that food should not be a drug, but much of our culture teaches us that this is so.

Eating live on tv

To become a conscious and intuitive eater, gratitude and communication with the beings and energies we are consuming is also vital. As we move from a system of separation and duality where our bodies are treated as machines and food as fuel to a unified way of life in which everything is connected in a web of energy, light, sound, information – then the way we interact with our bodies, with plants, animals, and with one another will change radically.

Plants-Conscious-Full-Width-Tall

From my perspective, the plants, animals, trees, air, water, soil, rocks, insects, and the planet herself are conscious beings who appreciate our recognition. Traditional cultures bless food and harvests for several good reasons. And without being religious, we can adopt or create our own spiritual practice of gratitude and communication with the specific energies of the beings who so generously give of themselves for our well-being and health.

Rwanda

Before eating or feeding my dog (for some reason, I am more diligent about this with my dog than I am for myself, but I am promising myself to be more mindful about my own body and my own feeding!), I thank individually and collectively all of the plants, animals, our galactic family, soul family, inner Earth family, Gaia, our source creator, the central sun, the air, water, elementals, angels and guides for their gifts and support, love, beauty, generosity, and wisdom. I vortex into the food and my own body and the bodies of my family members and dog the highest frequency light codes, creating an intention for coherence in our bodies and our food.

dog love

This is how I create fractal patterns of light in the food, water, and our cellular structure, simply by using my words, my consciousness, my imagination – which are all tools enabling my ability to create. Similarly, I remove all low frequency energies from my body, my son’s body, my dog’s body, and from our food, releasing with gratitude and love anything that does not serve our highest expression of health on every dimension and timeline – mental, physical, emotional, etheric (light body), from our DNA, from our ancestral lines. I transmute these energies through the violet fire back into pure source light, which is pure creative energy.

Make-Homemade-Natural-Dog-Food-Recipe.png

Our cells require light, water, and love to function optimally. Love is the ultimate creative, organizing energy, and with our consciousness, we have the power to create health. Health is simply a state of highly organized energy in the microcosm of the body that is created from an expansive and coherent intention from a place of love. Disease or ill health is a decomposition or disorganization of energies which are functioning from a place where alignment, authenticity, and clear intentions are lacking. Every cell needs our love and our intuitive communication of a loving intention to keep our body healthy.

fractal

We live in a society which promotes incessant judgment of self and others. These constant stresses on our physical, mental, and emotional bodies are more punishing to our health than are GMOs, fluoride, environmental poisons and toxins, high carb diets, and the like. Without love, the human being and the human body cannot thrive and live long. Sunlight, oxygen, and water are forms of light and the carriers of light and cosmic information to our cells and to our DNA. The human being is an elaborate communication system that is able to transmit and receive information from and to the entire Universe.

anorexia

For thousands of years, we have not been using our powers. Like Rip Van Winkle in Washington Irving’s short story, we have been deeply asleep, and we have forgotten how magnificent we once were, and still are. We have allowed experts and authorities to tell us how to behave, how to eat, what kind of work to do, what and who is beautiful and what is ugly. We judge, divide, identify, discriminate without even realizing that this behavior is a destructive choice, until all we feel is stress, sadness, and anger. We live in pretense, and we can’t remember who we are.

waking up

When we wake up and begin to remember, we take back our power. We remember that we already know so much. Taking baby steps or leaps, we can all move at our own pace and find our own way back to being in touch with the magnificence of our bodies, minds, and hearts. A multidimensional being is so much more than a digestive system. We are all beings of light, and a being of light feeds on love, and projects love out into the world.

palms cupping buzz that tingles

feeling the light prickling where fate line intersects heart and head

waiting for what emerges

what is showing today?

the filmstrip inside my skull splices a never-ending collection of plants

I clearly perceive flowers, leaves of all shapes and colors

they keep coming at me, to me

how do I know them so well?

how do they know me?

in the library that lives in my cellular memory

have I stored and cataloged my interactions with these beings?

Am I a librarian, a botanist, herbalist, healer, a witch?

And why am I so reluctant to remember?

Having loved the plants so long, so well…

has this power brought upon me isolation, demise, misery among men?

remembering is awakening

Animal logic: interpreting aberrant behavior

romantic squirrels

Dearest readers,

For the last two years, an otherwise ordinary-looking squirrel has been targeting very specific plants in my porch flower containers and viciously and systematically shredding the plants until nothing remains but the stub of a root. This creature, whom I have dubbed “Psycho Squirrel”, does not eat the plants. He, and I am assuming, perhaps erroneously, based on his deliberate and aggressive yet sneaky behavior, that he is a male, has occasionally garlanded my wooden fence with shreds of geraniums.

vintage squirrel illustration

Squirrels are supposed to be repelled by geraniums.

My initial response to this squirrel’s erratic behavior was to feel upset and even a bit angry. I love all animals, but I was having difficulty feeling affection for his less than lovable behavior.

squirrel

When people on my local neighborhood social network regularly vent about package thieves and other nefarious individuals who delight in petty crimes and burglaries in our area, their reactions, while more heated and intense than my response to my rodent visitor, reminded me of my own thoughts about package thieves and such.

Matt Squirrell

Generally, humans are very protective of their property, their belongings, and they become quite angry and aggressive when their territory is invaded. Sending unconditional love to these perpetrators is outside of the realm of most people’s experience and ability.

squirrel meme.jpg

Since I spend much of my time and energy focusing on raising my energetic frequency and working towards unity and coherence in my body, mind, heart, and energy field, the behavior of this erratic, fluffy-tailed being intrigued me. Perhaps he is not a simple ne’er-do-well bent on tearing up flowers. Perhaps he is a messenger from Gaia (Mother Earth), and his actions have been misinterpreted by me. Perhaps I need to send him (and our relationship) unconditional love despite the vegetation decimation in which he seems to delight.

potato weed parable

As a gardener on this third density realm of experience, I struggle with the concept that some plants (people, animals, trees) are considered more valuable, more important than others. In my heart of hearts, all beings are conscious and have specific talents, properties, beauty, and energy. No being is more important than another, no matter how humble in appearance.

Wicked_Plants

Some people say a “weed” is a plant that is the wrong place. Perhaps a plant becomes named a “weed” when it is perceived by a lower density being, by a state of consciousness that divides, confines, compartmentalizes, judges. Because we, for the most part, still live in duality while striving for unity consciousness (some of us do!), our gardens are also subject to judgment.

The message of the squirrel, as I interpret it, leads me to question my gardening practice. I have written of this dilemma before in this blog. By tearing up my asters this spring, and my geraniums last growing season, the squirrel was destroying the “privileged plants”, who get to live in containers on the porch, with lovely store-bought soil, compost, and plant food. The wild plants, of which there are a great variety who propagate themselves  throughout my front and back yard – and the types of plants also vary to some degree from year to year – are not allowed, for the most part, to live in the designated flower beds or containers.

plants in containers

And while I regret doing it, I do pull up certain plants to favor others. I do not resort to using poisons of any kind. But think about it! In our human societies, we constantly judge certain people. Put them in categories. Decide that some should be punished, put to death. Some enjoy great privileges, while others constantly struggle to survive. Certain body types and appearances are considered beautiful and desirable, while others are judged ugly and unlovable. I believe that when we live from the heart, these judgmental practices fall away. The heart is a great unifier.

weeds and flowers

This institutional plant racism or segregation does not obey the Law of One. How can I be aligned with my higher self and in service to Gaia and to continue to garden in the old way, with hierarchies of plants, separated beds? Should a New Earth garden be a confusion of weeds and cultivated plants? Areas of intentional planting with other areas left intact? I don’t quite have an answer to this question yet. But the question itself intrigues me. How do we garden in the fifth dimension?

New Earth garden.jpg

I do talk to my plants, to the trees, the stars, the air, water, rocks, and clouds. I apologize to the tiny trees and seedlings which I remove from my yard. Each time I grasp a tiny stem and pull the roots from their hold in the Earth, I feel twinges of sadness. And I know that Nature herself is quite harsh on small trees. Very few reach maturity. Perhaps I am just one of the hazards in the eco-system. Still, to love the plants unconditionally, while loving myself unconditionally is my goal. My intuition tells me that I simply need to listen to the plants more. Sometimes, I ask certain plants if they could please move somewhere else.

listening to plants

In any case, Psycho Squirrel has inspired a thought process and a questioning of how we, as human beings, interact with our natural environment. I feel much improvement to our quality of life in human societies would come if we did slow down and took the time to listen to plants, animals, rocks, the soil, trees, the air, and the clouds. The ability to understand all of creation is inside of each of us. Of that I am certain. We simply need to be still, and to remember.

Flu boost: Give your body a boost this flu season

elderberries

Dearest readers,

The human body is an incredible energy system. All of us are different, and it is important to be aware of your intuitive connection to both the Earth and to cosmic guidance. Our bodies are like antennae, deriving energy from the Earth through our feet and from the stars through the crowns of our heads. A person in balance does not usually fall ill, but since humanity has been disconnected from our true nature and abilities, energy blockages are common.

honey

The foods we commonly eat today do not supply us with the energy we need. The assumption that the body is a machine that needs calories or heat units to function is completely erroneous. In fact, above all, the body needs oxygen, love, light, and the crystalline energy carried by water which relays information from the Earth and sky through our cellular structure. Our thoughts and beliefs are also extremely important to maintaining and creating health.

lemon water

That said, plants and the solar energy they embody, possess powerful healing properties that balance our energy systems and eliminate blockages quickly. By using intuition and knowledge, we can increase coherence in our bodies when the stress of low frequency energies such as viruses, fungi, and certain bacteria clog our cells and slow down our metabolic functions and produce chaos where there was once order.

pathogens

This flu season, I put together a regimen for myself which may or may not work for you. If you try it out, you may want to tweak it to adapt it to your own body and cellular structure.

essential-oil-oregano-essential-oil

I have been taking oil of oregano (brand pictured above) mixed with coconut oil, ground cloves, and ground Neem bark powder for the last several months to reduce fungal overgrowth in my body to and heal a tooth abscess. I wanted to avoid taking antibiotics, even though this was the course of action recommended by my dentist. She was not opposed to my using herbal treatments, however. I prefer to rely on my inner wisdom and intuition, which I feel is a fail-safe source of knowledge of my own body and its needs. Of course, if you are not yet connected to your own higher self and intuitive wisdom, you will always want to consult your medical professional or holistic doctor/herbalist before embarking on a regimen involving plant-based medicines, as they are not without risks.

clove

I started out with two drops of oregano oil in a tablespoon of coconut oil, gradually raising the dose to nine drops of oregano oil in the same amount of coconut oil over a period of months. I could actually feel the effect of the oil in my body. My tongue is no longer coated, and my hair and scalp stay clean longer.

Some people are reluctant to take oil of oregano internally because it contains thymol, which can be toxic. It is difficult to know, when purchasing oil of oregano, which type of oregano and how much thymol is contained in the product you buy. I would recommend caution using oil of oregano internally for adults, and I would not recommend its use at all for children. Olive leaf extract is a safer and quite effective alternative, but because of the toxic load we are all carrying, any detox plant or substance should be taken in progressive doses accompanied by increased water intake to reduce die-off effects, which can mimic flu-like symptoms.

One evening, after being around a lot of people who were suffering from the flu, bronchitis, and other winter scourges, I was feeling achy, tired, and my throat was hurting. I decided to do something about it and rummaged through my pantry.

This is what I came up with:

  • organic dried elderberries
  • unpasteurized raw honey
  • fresh garlic cloves
  • fresh ginger
  • echinacea extract
  • fresh lemon juice
  • Yogi brand Triple echinacea green tea

I boiled 1/3 of a cup of the dried elderberries in 2-3 cups of filtered water for about 45 minutes, as recommended on the bag. Elderberries, stems, leaves, and flowers can be toxic. The berries themselves must be cooked thoroughly before consumption. I added some honey to the mixture after straining out the cooked berries. The syrup can be taken for about five consecutive days but it is not recommended for long-term use.

Triple echinacea tea.png

I made echinacea tea, adding 10-15 drops of the echincacea extract (I have Eclectic Institute brand tangerine flavored Echinacea Premium Blend Glycerite Compound (alcohol free). I added a shot of the elderberry syrup, 3 minced cloves of garlic (let sit for about 10 minutes after grating before adding to tea), the juice of 1/2 organic lemon, a knob of fresh ginger cut into small chunks, and several tablespoons of the raw honey. Allow to steep so oils from garlic and ginger infuse into the tea.

I drank two big cups of this tea, then went to bed. I was worried I would miss work, since I was really feeling very poorly and I have to get up at around 3:30 am every day for my job. However, I slept deeply and well, and when I woke up, I felt absolutely fantastic. My body was energized, with no flu-like symptoms whatsoever.

Over the next couple of days, I drank this mixture, gradually decreasing the amounts of echinacea, garlic, and elderberry juice. No flu symptoms, no congestion, no cough, sore throat, no aches or pains have reappeared.

ginger tea

There are many plants, fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs which boost immunity, reduce free radical proliferation, and which oxygenate the body. Use your intuition to feel which of them will work best for you. Breathe deeply. Meditate and raise the energetic signature of your body to create flow and coherence. Release blockages and beliefs which no longer serve you, all with a gratitude and understanding that what was once helpful is no longer needed. Maintaining health is sometimes like clearing out your closet of items you no longer wear or need. Talk to your cells and thank them for loving and supporting you every moment of every day.

The name of the rose: unconditional self-love and healing

sunlight-on-rose

Dearest readers,

In western cultural iconography, the rose is the equivalent of what the lotus flower embodies in the eastern hemisphere. Like the lotus, the rose is a symbol of love, the heart, of unconditional love, and of unity consciousness.

In our current cultural paradigm, healing means fighting disease. As if there were a part of self that needed to be eliminated, a part of self not worthy of love. When I choose to hate some part of myself, such as toenails infected with fungus, what I am really saying is that there is a part of myself that does not deserve my love. By hating that part of myself, what I am really doing is not fighting the “illness”. I am perpetuating the illness by increasing the lock-down of those blocked energies that no longer serve my total health and well-being. I am creating a quarantine in my own body, setting up a barrier in which disease, fungus, viruses, or bacteria thrive, and with my implicit permission, create chaos rather than harmony. The heart, like the rose, is a creator of coherence. Coherence is a term used to denote a pattern of energy that embodies a high vibrational frequency in which all parts create a harmonious pattern.

rose quartz crystal grid.jpg

Lower vibrational frequencies, or energies that are not organized by a conscious, loving intention, are chaotic. This is not bad in itself, but these energies, like cells in the body, if not always receiving messages of conscious, intentional unconditional love, will obey unconscious or social messages as directions for their behavior or patterning. If our cells, the air we breathe, the water that we drink are chaotic or absorbing the lower density energy patterns of fear, division, duality, chemical poisons rather than those of unity and unconditional love, our bodies shift and organize themselves according to these patterns. We feed these patterns and blueprints into our bodies through the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the thoughts that we think, and the feelings we allow to course through our hormonal systems.

In a culture based on division and duality, we are always fighting some part of self. Total love and acceptance of self seem like a challenge so huge as to be impossible. We generally believe that unconditional love for self and for others is practically out of reach for human beings grounded in a physical body on the Earth plane.

flower painting

Yet if we wish to heal and to live whole lives in  harmony with self and others, we must master self-love. Unconditional self-love.

The rose carries the pink ray – a light encoded frequency that speaks the language of unconditional love. If you speak to your body and use rose water, or imagine roses or a pink light healing your cells, you are unifying your cells, your body, your emotions, your heart with the unified field of all that is. By consciously creating coherence, you are choosing to return to integrity and wholeness. This is healing. It is our true nature to be actively and consciously connected to the entirety of creation.

flower-painting-demo-2

With the language and love of the unity that is the rose, it is possible to heal our bodies, our lives, our minds, hearts, our communities, our relationships. What part or parts of your body do you find difficult to love? Where do you judge yourself, and what do you judge in others? By asking myself these questions, I can begin to perceive the parts of myself and the areas in others on which I project judgment of self as the targets for self-love. Where I am lacking or believe I am not good enough, not beautiful enough is where I hurt myself. The parts of my body which constantly love and support me are not being supported by my consciousness.

When I fail to give full gratitude to my body and cellular structure for the magnificent work that is done in my behalf every moment of every day and night since birth and until the death of this physical body, I am failing myself. I may ingest chemicals or plant-based substances, hoping to heal my body. But if I am fighting or opposing what I perceive as lack, disease, a part of self that is less than perfect, then I cannot heal. The medication is not so important as the intention that is administered at the same time as the medication  is ingested. I may eat only organic foods, but if I fail to love myself unconditionally, my health may still be impaired.

mirror

Healing is totality, holism, harmony of all parts. Disease or dysfunction is where blocked energy and lack of self-love become ingrained in the cellular structure. If I choose to give unconditional love and gratitude to these areas of my being, physical, mental, emotional, then I can also give permission for these blocked energies to be released back into the unified field and transformed back into light forms that can be used as effective creative energy for new purposes.

Guerilla Girls

All is light, all is energy. The rose is a flower, but it is also an energy pattern which holds healing properties, if we allow ourselves to tap into the energetics of unconditional love.

Self-love is probably the most challenging type of love to master. As long as we think of ourselves, as we have been taught, to judge self very harshly and to judge others somewhat harshly, we will live in separation and find unconditional love out of reach. Our bodies, our emotional well-being suffer when we live outside of self-love. We struggle, we feel we are victims, and creative mastery of our lives and fully intentional living remain in the realm of hopes and dreams.

I choose to speak aloud to my skin, my scalp, my hair follicles, my spider veins, my toenails. With the image of the rose, rose quartz, and with naturally perfumed rose water, I apply not only the essence of the flower, but also the message of the flower into my cellular structure. Using affirmative words of unconditional love, I release all judgment of self. All blocked energies from ancestral family patterns, childhood conditioning, social instruction are consciously and intentionally released and transmuted back into love and pure light.

We have all been living our entire lifetimes in a very difficult, dense, fear-filled world. This collective reality is heavy, and it is hard for sensitive, empathic beings to function and flourish in these energy constructs of unbalanced masculinity, suppressed femininity, lack, and division.

Bringing in the energy of the rose, the divine feminine, and balancing of the masculine and feminine energies is very healing for the body, mind, and the emotional body.

I choose the heart-centered life. I choose to talk to my cells, to my plants, even cut flowers and herbs. They all have awareness and consciousness. They know when they are loved. Unconditional love is the power that heals and extends life. Cut plants thrive longer when they are spoken words of unconditional love.

The rose teaches a powerful and beautiful lesson that is simple and within reach for all of us. Unconditional love is not other-worldly. It is part of our human heart and an innate ability that each of us carry. A return to innocence allows us to speak to all of the plants, animals, to all of the trillions of cells in our own body. As a child does, we can play with these energies and know that invisible worlds live inside and around us. We have the power to create new worlds and to play, to enjoy our lives and our bodies, just as they are, with gratitude and love.

Unmuting our connection to the natural world

Dearest readers,

For thousands of years, we, as human beings, have accepted on one level to forget our identities and true abilities. And now, we are living in an unique time, where we are beginning to remember how powerful we once were and can be again. Beginning to know once again that we are sovereign beings and creators. That we don’t need religion, corporations, or governments to control us and to run our lives. That together, we co-create realities with the Universe. We choose to create harmony or disharmony. What we imagine is what we experience.

When reading from ancient texts, at least what is given to us to peruse and not hidden away, we see that the peoples of civilizations that no longer exist, and some that still do (the indigenous peoples of Australia, South and Central America, the Native peoples of North America, Greenland, Siberia, parts of Europe, Africa, and Asia) were able to see and interact with beings that we currently are not able to perceive with our 3-D vision. Indigenous peoples of the world have always communicated with fairies, devas, gnomes, trolls, monsters, star people, clouds, volcanoes, trees, crystals, plants, unicorns, and other beings that we have assumed as simply inventions of the imagination.

crystal-cave-615

As we begin to remember, we start to realize that these beings are still very real. They are simply not visible or perceivable from our 3-D density. We need to raise our frequency in order to step up into a different level of reality, shifting our perception to a new reality. Once we step out of the restrictive box in which we have chosen to live, inside of our heads, down into our hearts, the world comes alive again with wonder. We find our own power again when we begin to listen, slow down, and see the true beauty and fantastic nature of reality.

The other day, I listened to an interview on YouTube with a man who has devoted his life to crystals, and he described his relationship with his quartz crystals, each of which is unique. He talks to them, asks them questions, listens to them.

When you understand that everything that we perceive and all that we don’t yet perceive is made up of conscious energy forms and that light, sound, air, and water carry information, then the manner in which you perceive and interact with your reality changes.

IMG_8840

Just as you can interact with stones, rocks, crystals, the Earth as a conscious planet, you can also interact with plants and trees. All human beings possess this latent ability, and some of us have greater stored experiences in these areas than others. Our human languages actually restrict our ability to communicate with the other non-human language speaking entities on and off of our planet. Once you accept that you are able to communicate with animals, plants, rocks, extra-terrestrial beings, and terrestrial beings that you cannot currently see…anything at all, you become more receptive to this possibility.

IMG_9350

Little by little, it becomes easier to talk to non-verbal beings, or beings whose language we have not learned at home or at school. Listening, however, is more challenging. As human beings, we have learned to be very busy. Listening is not our best skill, because it requires patience and is an ability in which multi-tasking is a hindrance rather than a help. After slowing down and asking questions, the next step to communicating with plants, animals, insects, rocks is to be silent and to wait. The answers may not come right away. They may not arrive in the form of words. Pictures, sounds, events, scents, a sense of knowing, or memories may be triggered. By learning to observe your body, your inner sight or intuition, your dreams, and what happens around you outside in the world, you will begin to understand the poetic language of the heart of reality. This is the place where art and science intersect.

human heart sculpture

It is said that the human heart is a portal or gateway to other realms. It is a star gate, just as a spider web or an archway may also be a portal. By becoming more sensitive to our inner worlds as well as to the subtle details of the world around us, as it unfolds to us, moment by moment, we unmute our connection to what we now call the physical world.

kmacdowell heart

You can ask your body, your organs and cellular structure any question for which you seek an answer. Wait for the response, and learn how your body communicates with you. It will be different from person to person. Learn to understand the plants that live inside and outside your house. Get to know them and observe how they change from day to day. Be patient. Slow down. Stay in the moment. Think about what you really would like to know about yourself, about life, your health, the planet, and the nature of reality. The plants, rocks, insects, animals, and the planet have been here for many millions of years, and they have a lot of knowledge and information stored within.

webs

We have ignored the source of so much discovery by muting our connection to our home planet and her inhabitants. In fact, we have muted our connection to our own bodies by isolating ourselves inside our heads and restricting knowledge to information that we have learned from others, not trusting our own intuition and our own ability to interact with the myriads of beings who are our natural family.

Awaken your intuition. Unmute your connection to the planet, and the beginning of a wonderful journey awaits you!

The new gardener: frugal, intuitive, compassionate

IMG_1383[1]

Dearest readers,

As more and more humans come to realize that everything that exists is a representation of an energetic frequency, and that this energy is a vehicle for consciousness, our view of plants, rocks, soil, and inanimate objects is entirely revised.

IMG_1171[1]

We can, if we choose to do so, communicate with plants, with the Earth, with rocks, with trees. As in Feng Shui, we can intuit where to place rocks or plants in a holistic and harmonious manner that promotes beneficial states of being for both people and plants. Going even deeper, we can ask the trees, the plants, the rocks where they would like to be placed.

IMG_1120[1]

If you are a compassionate gardener on a budget, there are many ways to work with the planet to create a place of beauty without spending much money at all.

This past week while walking my dog in a fairly affluent area, the flow of the Universe brought me a series of free plants that their “owners” had chosen to discard. These plants were healthy and full of life. Some had dried up flowers that needed to be dead-headed, but were otherwise fine! Within the space of two days, I had acquired four chrysanthemums, including a very large pot, one huge fern, and an aloe plant. All awaiting a certain fate as compost until I came along!

IMG_1357[1]

Another way to fill your garden with plants is to choose perennials and plants which multiply and spread. There are many plants that do this, including day lilies, irises and other bulbs, ground covers such as phlox, creeping jenny, and a multitude of others. If you are sufficiently patient, with the purchase of a single plant, within a few years, you can have several flower beds and containers full of beautiful flowering plants and draping ground covers and accent plants.

IMG_1369[1]

Many plants such as succulents will grow roots when simply broken from the mother plant and placed in the soil. Others will root when placed in water – geraniums, jasmine, and many flowering plants will easily grow roots and thus be multiplied without your having to buy multiple plants. On your walks, you may come across bits of cacti which have fallen off the mother plant. Stick them in the ground, and they will grow!

IMG_1360[1]

Community social networks such as Nextdoor are a great resource to trade or obtain free plants. Many people thin their flower beds at various times of year. I have gotten canna lilies, day lilies, irises, and hellebores that now grace my garden through the loving kindness of neighbor gardeners!

IMG_1370[1]

Sometimes our animal friends or air currents bring us wild plants that can become lovely additions to our gardens. I have wild ferns that I have moved around, and wild violets and strawberries can be delightful, though they can also become invasive.

IMG_1372[1]

Another great tip for the frugal gardener is to re-purpose or re-use mulch materials that other people discard. In the southern United States, there is an abundance of pine trees, and pine straw is an excellent ground cover/mulch used to maintain moisture while keeping insects away. It is attractive, light-weight, and when fresh, is a lovely orange color. When purchased at big box stores such as the Home Depot or Lowes, pine straw can cost as much as $4 per bale. When neighbors bag up pine straw for pick up by local sanitation workers, each bag is the equivalent of about two bales, and is absolutely free. Sometimes I offer to help neighbors rake in exchange for their pine straw. It takes about forty bales to cover the landscaped area in my front yard, and this process allows me to meet neighbors, have beautiful fresh pine straw, and to save quite a bit of money!

IMG_1373[1]

You may ask how does one communicate with plants, rocks, or trees? It is really very simple, but it requires the ability to tune in, look inward, be patient, to activate your third eye, and to open your heart. Intuition means learning from your own inner knowing. For the truth is that we already know everything or have access to all that we do need to know. We simply need to remember that we possess these innate abilities and remember how to access them. The more we practice, the easier it gets.

IMG_1061[1]

For example, you either have the plant or rock in front of you, or you simply imagine it in your mind’s eye. You can verbalize aloud or simply think the words in your mind, but clearly express the intent of your request. Then wait for an answer. It may not come in a linear way. It may appear in the form of a synchronistic event. It may flash as an image in your mind’s eye. You may sense a knowing of what to do without any words or images at all. Because all of creation is inter-connected, we are all part of a world-wide web of knowing, communicating, interacting at all times. Plants and rocks are not objects to be discarded or purchased. They are conscious beings. They are our neighbors and our friends.

IMG_1075[1]

The conscious gardener cannot discard a plant, trim a tree, pull a weed without the thought: “How am I influencing this being?” What is this tree, weed, or plant feeling right now?” It is a paradigm shift for the gardener, for we all have been conditioned to think of plants, rocks, soil, trees, as silent passive objects without much importance or connection to us. We are taught to think of them as decorative elements that make a landscape look pretty. Few of us realize that they are thoughtful, have strategies, desires, and fears, just as we do.

IMG_1162[1]

The intuitive, compassionate new gardener has a heart full of respect and gratitude for the plant world. Sometimes we are not sure how to deal with the complexity of this new (to us) interactive relationship with the plant kingdom and with the planet herself, but to simply be open to learn, to remember to show gratitude, and to begin to ask questions, to ask permission when moving or cutting plants, is a good start!
